If you're pregnant and uninsured, you may qualify for Medicaid at a higher income limit than usual, regardless of immigration status, and some providers can enroll you the same day. How late in pregnancy can I get an abortion in NYC?
New York law protects the right to abortion up to 24 weeks of pregnancy, and after 24 weeks when the patient's health is at risk or the fetus is not viable. Availability still varies by clinic within that — each sets its own cutoff.
